RISK DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS

The Customer is fully aware of the risks in becoming a customer for trading the Value Gold ETF, and/or risk derived from the physical gold investment through the Value Gold ETF trading; and related service is solely upon reliance of your own independent knowledge and judgment at your own risk. The Customer has perused, understood, agreed and accepted all related Terms and Conditions for becoming a Customer under Redford Securities Limited, and acknowledged that the risks of the potential and substantial loss in the market value by trading the Value Gold ETF and/or physical gold which are belonging to the Customer and not to the Company. If the Customer has any doubts as to becoming, a customer for trading the Value Gold ETF as an investment, and/or participating in physical gold investment through the Value Gold ETF trading, the Customer should contact an independent legal or financial advisor. You should carefully consider whether trading the Value Gold ETF and/or participating in the physical gold investment through the Value Gold ETF trading is appropriate for you in light of your experience, objectives, financial resources and other relevant circumstances.

  1. Risk of Participating Any Value Gold ETF Investment

    The Customer should consider carefully the suitability of becoming a customer for trading of the Value Gold ETF, and/or for participating in the physical gold investment through the Value Gold ETF trading before making any decisions that may affect their financial situations. Becoming a customer for trading of Value Gold ETF and accounts are not insured by the Deposit Protection Scheme in Hong Kong or other similar programs and may lose the initial value;

  2. Risk of Loss

    The Customer should be fully aware that trading of the Value Gold ETF involves a high degree of risks and is not suitable for all people. The trading of Value Gold ETF and/or participating in physical gold investment through the Value Gold ETF provides no guarantee of interest, yield or return. Losses may occur both as a result of price devaluation and if price gains do not exceed applicable fees, including all related charges herein;

  3. Risk of Currency Exchange

    The Customer should be fully aware that the profit or loss in transactions in foreign currency-denominated assets (whether they are traded in your own or another jurisdiction) will be affected by fluctuations in currency rates where is a need to convert from the currency denomination of the assets to another currency;

  4. Risk of Transaction Facilities

    The Customer should be fully aware that the provision of Electronic Services depend upon computer and communication systems which may have malfunctions and may not be completely reliable or secure;

  5. Risk of Online Facilities

    The Customer should be fully aware that the combinations of password and/or user identification code do not result in any forms of security or encryption other than as an initial verification of identity at the first log-in time to the Customer’s Online Account. The Customer accepts all risks of interception, corruption or loss in transit of any instructions you send by Electronic Means and the Company is entitled to rely upon such instructions for execution and providing services as they are in fact received by us; and the Company shall not be responsible for the content of any third parties website to which you are connected using a hypertext link contained within the Customer Online Account or any of our Website;

  6. Terms and Conditions of Trading Value Gold ETF

    The Customer should be fully and continuously aware that the Terms and Conditions of trading the Value Gold ETF which you have agreed with associated obligations that will be updated and amended by the Company from time to time;

  7. Additional Risks

    Deposited cash and property - You should familiarize yourself with the protections given to money or other property you deposit for domestic and foreign transactions, particularly in the event of a firm insolvency or bankruptcy.

    Fees and other charges – Before you begin to trade, you should obtain a clear explanation of all fees and other charges for which you may be responsible for. These fees and other charges may affect your final net profit (if any) increase your total decreased valuation. Transactions in other jurisdictions - Transactions on markets in other jurisdictions, including markets formally linked to a domestic market, may expose you to additional risk.

This statement may be translated into any languages other than English. However, if there is any inconsistency with the English version, the English version shall prevail.
